Cockpitify Help

Feature usage, funnels and the map

Define features from screens and events, build conversion funnels from sign-up to purchase, and see where your users are in Cockpitify.

Once usage analytics are set up, you can group screens and events into features, follow users through a funnel and see where they are.

Define a feature

A feature is a set of screens and events that belong together, like everything in “Quiz”.

  1. On Summary, open Feature usage and go to Features.
  2. Tap to define a feature and give it a Name.
  3. Add screens, by exact name or as a prefix ending in * (for example quiz/*), and events. A feature can hold up to 20 of each.
  4. Save. The feature shows how many people used it, premium and free.

Each feature gets a key. Pass it to the AI SDK to see the feature’s AI cost:

const ai = Ops.wrap(client, { userId: user.id, supabase, feature: 'quiz' })

Build a funnel

Funnels show step-by-step conversion, for example sign-up → paywall → purchase.

  1. In Feature usage, tap Funnels, then Create funnel.
  2. Give it a Name and a Conversion window of 1 to 30 days.
  3. Add 2 to 6 Steps. Each step is a Screen, an Event, a Feature or a Purchase (the first RevenueCat purchase, trials included).
  4. Save.

Each step shows the percentage of people from the start, from the previous step, and the median time between steps.

The map

Map on the Summary tab shows how many people use the app in how many countries, how many are premium, and the countries with the most users. The country comes from usage events; no IP address is kept.
