Add a service and get balance alerts
Add DeepSeek, OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Twilio, Resend and 30+ services to see balance, spend or quota, days left and alerts before they run out.
Add the API key of a service you pay for, and Cockpitify reads its balance, this month’s spend or its quota every hour. It estimates when the balance runs out and notifies you before it does.
Add a service
- Open the Services tab and tap Add (or Add service if the list is empty).
- Find the service in Add a service. Use Search services or scroll the groups.
- Paste the key. Each service says which key it needs and where to get it.
- Set the alerts (see below).
- Tap Save and test. Cockpitify reads the service once and shows Connection successful with how long the balance lasts at the current rate.
The key is stored in your project’s Supabase Vault and never reaches us.

Services marked Recorded (Groq, Gemini, Replicate, AssemblyAI) don’t need a key: Cockpitify adds up the calls recorded by @cockpitify/node. See Track AI cost per user.
Not on the list? Add it as a custom HTTP service.
Set the alerts
What you can set depends on what the service reports.
Balance and quota services
- Warning and Critical thresholds. You get one alert as the remaining amount drops below each, and they re-arm when the balance goes back up. Leave one empty to skip it.
- Runs-out alert: notifies you when, at the current rate, the balance lasts less than 7 days. It’s on by default.
Spend services
- Monthly budget: one alert a month when this month’s spend reaches the budget. Leave it empty for no alert.
Providers report spend a few hours late, so Cockpitify also shows what ops recorded itself, and whether the two match.
Read the service card
Each card shows the balance, quota or spend, the alert threshold, the daily average, about how many days are left and when a quota resets. Last checked tells you when it was last read; readings are hourly.
If a reading fails, the card shows Last reading failed with the reason. The most common one is The key is invalid or lacks permission: check that you used the key type in the table above.
Change or remove a service
Tap the card. Change the thresholds and tap Save, use Test the connection again, or tap Remove service. Removing deletes the key from your project’s Vault, along with past readings.
