Get started with Cockpitify
Sign in, connect your first Supabase app and finish the setup checklist, from a fresh install to your first notification.
Cockpitify is a mobile admin console for apps built on Supabase. This guide takes you from a fresh install to a connected app that sends you a notification when someone signs up.
What you need
- A Supabase account with the project your app runs on.
- About two minutes.
- Optional, for later: a RevenueCat secret key, the API keys of the services you pay for, and access to your app’s server code if you want AI cost per user.
- Open Cockpitify and tap Continue with Google, or type your email address and tap Continue with email.
- If you chose email, type the code we sent you on the Enter the code screen and tap Sign in. The code works once and expires; tap Send the code again if it didn’t arrive (after a short wait).
Cockpitify turns on the device lock by default: when the app opens, it asks for your fingerprint, face or phone PIN. You can turn this off in Settings → Account → Biometric lock.
Connect your first app
After signing in you land on Connect your first app. Tap Connect with Supabase, approve access in the browser, pick your project, review what will be added and tap Confirm and install. Setup takes about 30–60 seconds.
The full walkthrough, including exactly what is installed, is in Connect your Supabase project.
Not ready yet? Tap Skip for now. You can connect an app later with the + at the top of the screen.
Allow notifications
When setup finishes, the success screen shows an Allow notifications card. Tap it so new sign-ups, purchases and low balances reach your phone. Cockpitify doesn’t ask for this permission at launch, so this is the moment to allow it. You can also allow it later from Settings → Notifications → Allow.
Finish the setup checklist
The success screen also shows a Finish setup checklist. Each item unlocks more of the app:
| Step | What it unlocks | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Add service balances | Balances, spend and run-out alerts | Add a service |
| Tie AI cost to users | The Margin tab | Track AI cost per user |
| Connect RevenueCat | Revenue per user | Add revenue with RevenueCat |
| Usage tracking | Feature usage, funnels and the map | Set up usage analytics |
Want the team to see sign-ups and purchases in Slack or Discord too? Add a webhook: see Send events to Slack, Discord or your server.
Tap Go to dashboard to open the Summary tab. The checklist steps are also reachable later from each tab.
Joining someone else’s team
If someone invited you, you see the invitation right after signing in. Tap Join to see the apps they shared with you. Joining is free: the workspace owner pays. See Invite your team.
