Cockpitify Help

Troubleshooting

Fixes for common Cockpitify messages, from a paused Supabase project and an incomplete setup to plan limits, permissions and sign-in problems.

Most problems come with a message and a button that fixes them. Here is what each one means.

Can’t reach the project

“Can’t reach the project. Your Supabase project may be paused.”

On the Supabase Free plan, projects with no activity for a week are paused. Tap Open Supabase and restore the project. Your other apps aren’t affected, and data refreshes on its own once the project wakes up. You also get a Project unreachable notification after 30 minutes without a signal.

The setup is incomplete

“The setup is incomplete. It needs a repair.” or “The app failed to authenticate. It may need a repair.”

Go to Settings → Apps and tap Repair. Repair reinstalls missing parts without deleting data. See Repair, update or remove.

Update needed

“This app’s setup needs updating to a newer version first.”

New features need a newer ops layer. The owner or an admin taps Update in Settings → Apps.

ops hit an unexpected error

The error happened inside your project. Open Supabase → Edge Functions → ops-api → Logs to see the details. If it keeps happening, try Repair.

This is part of a paid plan

The feature is in Pro or Team. Tap See plans. See Plans, trials and billing.

You’ve reached your plan’s limit

You have as many apps, services or people as the plan allows. Remove one, or upgrade.

This app is locked on your current plan

Your plan keeps fewer apps open than you have. The owner can pick which app stays open, or upgrade. See When your plan drops.

You don’t have permission

“You don’t have permission to see this.” or “You can see this but not change it.”

You’re a team member without access to that area. Ask the workspace owner to change your permissions. See Invite your team.

Sign-in problems

  • The code is wrong or has expired. Tap Send the code again and use the newest code.
  • Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes and try again.
  • Couldn’t sign in with Google. Try again, or continue with email.
  • Google sign-in needs Google Play services. Update Google Play services on the phone.
  • Your session has ended. Sign in again.

Connecting a project

  • This project is already connected. Repair or update it from Settings → Apps instead of connecting it again.
  • This project is already connected to another account. The project belongs to another Cockpitify account. Its owner can invite you to their team.
  • The Supabase authorization expired. Start again; the consent is valid for a short time.
  • No projects found. The Supabase account you approved has no projects, or you approved a different organization.

A service can’t be read

“The key is invalid or lacks permission.” Check you used the key type the service asks for, such as an Admin key for OpenAI and Anthropic or a Management key for OpenRouter. See Add a service.

No notifications

Network messages

“You seem to be offline”, “The request timed out” and “Can’t reach the server” are about the phone’s connection. Pull down to refresh once you’re back online.
